Here is an example of a floral arrangement for a signing table we did recently. The bride wanted the flowers to be the main thing, overflowing and full, and in colours to compliment her bouquet.

This is is in the same style as can be used for floral arbours. We are also able to make the arrangement so that it can be used as an arbour and then taken down to use for the bridal table. This can help to save on costs, for the budget conscious.

If you are getting married on the Gold Coast and are looking for a Florist, or for any other occasion, contact us and see what we can do.

We are getting some galleries/boards happening over on pinterest. We plan to add more as time goes on. It’s an easy way to collect images together based on particular types of things you are looking for, this will have some good use for weddings particularly.

So far we have we have five boards, with more to come. Boards are – bridesmaids bouquets, flower crowns, wrist corsages, cake flowers, and buttonholes.

Check them out for yourself here.

One of our favourite styles for wedding flowers is the classic mixed white seasonal blooms, complimented with differently textured greenery.

This is an example of an informal, almost hand-picked-look posy, from a May wedding. We have used standard and mini roses, carnations, stock, lisianthus and snapdragons.

Flower photos from the Studio:

Bride chose a lovely informal style, with lots of variety of texture but keeping it simple with just white and green tones.

We love seeing our flowers out there in real life. If you ever have any photos to share, please send them through to us.

Native flowers are so contrasting in shape and form. The variety of buttonholes achievable is endless.

Here’s one we really like from a wedding last December:

A calla lily buttonhole – in this case due to availability the calla is artificial (by request), but the miniature roses and foliage is real.

We can’t always get these lovely creamy cottage roses, but these are gorgeous! Simple bridal posy with trailing ivy around.

Bouquet includes white ‘icebreaker’ roses, apricot ‘carpe diem’ roses, and pale pink ‘sweet avalanche’ roses, with a trim of camellia leaves and white satin ribbon.

We don’t usually get asked to use bling, but this wedding was an exception. As well as using a mixture of real and artificial flowers to achieve the desired look, we used little pearl strands and diamante gems. We will post more pictures of this wedding in our portfolio section.

A Gold Coast garden wedding with a reception on the lawn, and some very pretty bouquets! These gorgeous enormous bouquets include masses of white and cream lisianthus, kale (ornamental cabbage) and stock.

Another beautiful Gold Coast wedding. Bold and vibrant.

This is the bride’s bouquet. We used David Austin roses, grandiflora roses, spray roses, 2 shades of sim carnations, and lisianthus. Trimmed with white satin.

We love this – a flower ball for the flowergirl to hold! So cute!

Bridesmaids were all the same as the bride, but a little smaller, and trimmed with black satin.

We posted this in the portfolio a little while ago, but we’ll add a little more info here:

This is the bride’s bouquet, 20 stems white ‘icebreaker’ rose, trimmed with black satin and a top of silver sheer ribbon.

A close up.

The bridesmaids had 12 stem rose posies with silver sheer ribbon.

This wedding was a gorgeous combination of softest peach/apricot with ivory/white. Using mostly roses, with just a few hyacinth flowers scattered through.
