Red Rose Tear Drop Bouquet

This is a hand-tied, non-wired, tear-drop wedding bouquet for a Gold Coast couple. The gorgeous red roses are a Grandiflora variety called ‘Zen’. The colour came in quite a lovely rich deep red, darker than the usual and expected cherry-red. The shape of the bloom is exquisite. Also, has a lovely fragrance. Very old-world.

Don’t you think daisies are just the happiest flowers?’ From ‘You’ve Got Mail’, you know the one with the lady who owns the book shop that goes out of business but then she falls in love with the guy who owns the big book store and he brings her daisies… *sigh*… and then in Lord of the Rings, King Theoden of Rohan speaks of Simbelmynë, ever growing on the tombs of his forebears…. Flowers are full of meaning and symbolism and bring emotion with them. Such amazing beautiful things and so many different varieties. Love Love.
