Stuck for gift ideas – why not send a bouquet?

Some reasons why a floral bouquet is a good idea:

(We might be biased, of course! But here’s our list anyway…)

  • Flowers convey emotion. Like I’m sorry, or I love you.
  • Flowers can cheer or sympathise
  • It’s a gift that won’t last forever, but this transience is beautiful. (It also means the recipient doesn’t have to find a place for them and keep dusting them forever…)
  • Buying flowers from a brick and mortar florist shop supports local business. It also supports local flower growers.
  • Studies have shown flowers are good for your mental health (this article sums it up nicely) and even recommends colours better for calming or energizing.

We’re sure there’s more reasons, but that’s a start. Check out our shop for ideas.

Bouquet includes white ‘icebreaker’ roses, apricot ‘carpe diem’ roses, and pale pink ‘sweet avalanche’ roses, with a trim of camellia leaves and white satin ribbon.

We don’t usually get asked to use bling, but this wedding was an exception. As well as using a mixture of real and artificial flowers to achieve the desired look, we used little pearl strands and diamante gems. We will post more pictures of this wedding in our portfolio section.

Sometimes we get interesting requests – this time we were asked to do an apple bouquet! How awesome! Here are some pictures:

A Gold Coast garden wedding with a reception on the lawn, and some very pretty bouquets! These gorgeous enormous bouquets include masses of white and cream lisianthus, kale (ornamental cabbage) and stock.

Here we have used red gerberas, banksia, coccinea, protea, spinning gum, and other foliage to create a warm winter bouquet.
